Among them, the cotton export volume to China increased by nearly 2 times year-on-year; the cotton export volume to Indonesia and Japan were 14,600 tons and 3,400 tons respectively, both of which were the highest records in the same period in the past 4 years; the cotton export volume to Malaysia was 0.24 Ten thousand tons, a year-on-year increase of about 4 times, a record high in the same period in history.

    Even so, as of May this year, the cumulative export of Australian cotton was only 283,000 tons, an increase of 2.4% year-on-year. To reach the latest US Department of Agriculture's annual export volume of 609,000 tons, the average monthly cotton export volume for the next two months is 16.6 Ten thousand tons is almost twice the May export volume, so it is more difficult, and it is expected that the cotton export volume this year is likely to be much lower than 609,000 tons.
