    Based on the recommendations of the "21st Century Vision" project, the Cotton Circulation Research Committee of the Cotton Council has determined the priorities and formulated corresponding policies, instructing the Cotton Council to take the following measures:

    First, through research, formulate rewards and penalties for companies that are actively performing and not performing; second, urge organizations responsible for formulating cotton trading rules to be more creative when drafting and reviewing rules to ensure that the terms of the transaction will not delay the time for cotton turnover.

    The Cotton Council and the Cotton Circulation Research Committee believe that under current market conditions, ensuring timely delivery is a key factor for U.S. cotton companies to earn revenue and maintain competitiveness in the international market.

    In order to solve the problem of timely delivery, Cotton always restarts the work of its subordinate compliance and standards working groups. The working group recently met to study how to help the industry implement the above policies. They put forward 12 suggestions, the main contents include: adjust the storage fee standard, pay more attention to the circulation of inventory, rather than long-term storage; create a longer embossing business chain, such as using a systematic method to better coordinate the distribution and embossing of cotton farmers And warehousing process; relax the cotton bale selection process, such as the use of four packs or the average value of cotton molds.

    It is reported that the US Cotton Association intends to discuss these policy options at the mid-year board meeting in August. If passed, it will help ensure the supply of US cotton during the harvest season and can be delivered to domestic and foreign users in a timely manner.
